XRN-6420RB2 is supplied as the network video recorder without hard disk drives. Storage must be installed in its 8 SATA drive bays. The recorder supports drives up to 10 TB each and can use RAID 5 or RAID 6 when enough drives are installed.
The recorder supports up to 64 camera channels and a maximum camera recording or display resolution of 32 MP. Recording throughput is rated up to 520 Mbps, while playback throughput is rated up to 200 Mbps.
AI Search is available when the recorder is used with Wisenet AI cameras. The recorder also supports ONVIF connectivity, H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression, but those functions do not make AI Search available for cameras outside the specified Wisenet AI range.
