The 1554C2GY is a long, narrow polycarbonate enclosure in the 1554 series with a gray lid, listed at 4.7 in x 2.6 in x 1.6 in (119 mm x 66 mm x 41 mm) and nominally 120 x 65 x 41 mm. The elongated shape suits slim PC boards, interface electronics and sensor modules installed outdoors or in wet industrial areas.

It is molded in light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate that is UV stabilized for outdoor use and rated UL94 5VA. Ratings include IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13, an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and cUL and UL 508A listing under file E65324. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The drawing gives inside dimensions of 113.44 mm long, 54.44 mm wide and 34.50 mm high, with a maximum P.C. board of 52.83 mm x 110.49 mm. Size C includes threaded M3 brass inserts, posts for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical PC card guides for 1.5 mm thick boards; internal DIN rail tabs are not molded into size C. The 1554CPL steel inner panel is available separately.

Four included M4 stainless steel self-captivating lid screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings, with 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m) recommended torque, over a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Two 4.00 mm mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554C2GY ships in shrink wrap at 0.28 lbs (0.13 kg).
