The 1456PG4BKBK is a 30-degree sloped aluminum console in the 1456 Series, 14.00 in (356 mm) wide with a shallow 7.25 in (184 mm) depth. The steep panel angle and short footprint suit wide control panels on a desk or bench, with a black top panel on a black case.

The case is 12 Gauge aluminum (.081") and the top panel is 14 Gauge aluminum (.064"); the unit is sold pre-assembled. The part page lists an IP31 rating for this all-black version.

Front height is 1.10 in (28 mm) and rear height is 4.00 in (102 mm). The part page gives the nominal size as 7.2 in x 14 in x 4 in (183 mm x 356 mm x 102 mm); the drawing shows an overall width of 360.22 mm [14.18 in], depth of 190.09 mm [7.48 in] and height of 106.83 mm [4.21 in]. The purchased assembly includes the case, the cover, 4 cover screws and 4 rubber feet, and the series supplies it with self-adhesive rubber feet and the required mounting hardware. Hammond recommends a cover-screw torque of 150-175 cN-m (13.3-15.5 lbf-in).
