The 1413BKS is a 12 oz. spray can of black touch-up paint for covering small chips and blemishes on black powder-coated equipment. It is aimed at integrators, electricians and maintenance staff who want a quick cosmetic repair after shipping damage or a rough installation.
The ordering table lists this can as Gloss Black, RAL9005, with a gloss level of 17% +/- 5%, and matches it to the BK2 finish code. If your enclosure is finished in BK or BK1, the low gloss 1413BKLGS is the matching can instead; the 1413BKS is the one specified for BK2.
The paint is formulated to match the factory powder coat finish, dries fast, works indoors or outdoors and gives a premium high-end finish. Each can holds 340 g (12 oz), has a shipping weight of 1 lb (0.45 kg), and is manufactured in North America. REACH and RoHS compliance are both listed for 1413BKS.
Handle it as a flammable aerosol. The safety data sheet (TUSP-Aerosol) gives a flash point of -18 °C (-0.4 °F), an HMIS flammability rating of 3 and a storage limit of 50 °C (122 °F). The product carries a California Prop 65 warning and is not compliant with CARB regulations.
