The 10758PSLA is the Eddystone 10758 diecast aluminium enclosure, a compact 145 x 95 mm instrument box supplied in natural finish. It is intended for designers and builders of small electronic instruments who want a rugged metal case that is tough yet easy to machine.
The enclosure is cast from aluminium alloy to BS1490, LM2M. Lap joint construction between box and lid protects against access of dust and splashing water, and the design is intended to meet IP54. The lid is retained by four M3.5 x 12 countersunk screws with POZIDRIV No. 2 heads, set in countersunk lid holes, with a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in].
