Key Features

Merit Series line conditioner and voltage regulator
Toroidal autotransformer regulation architecture
120 V AC input voltage
9 x AC power receptacles
NEMA 5-15P input plug
Over-voltage protection

Protect critical electronics from the power problems that quietly degrade performance. The Furman M-8x AR Voltage Regulator from the Merit Series is built to stabilize incoming AC line voltage and deliver a consistent 120 V AC output for equipment that cannot tolerate fluctuations. Its toroidal autotransformer design helps correct brownouts, sags, and over-voltage conditions before they reach sensitive components. That matters in studios, live sound racks, broadcast chains, and AV installations where unstable power can change audio behavior, interrupt digital workflows, or create avoidable downtime. With 9 AC outlets and a NEMA 5-15P input plug, the M-8x AR fits cleanly into standard North American power environments while adding a layer of protection and conditioning that cheaper strip-style solutions do not provide. This is the kind of power device chosen when uptime, signal integrity, and equipment longevity matter more than basic outlet expansion. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, it is a practical fit for systems that need stable power delivery without adding complexity.

Ideal For

Studio racks protecting mixers, interfaces, and outboard processors
Live sound systems requiring stable power for digital consoles and playback gear
AV installations where voltage swings can disrupt displays and control hardware
Equipment closets supporting sensitive electronics on standard 120 V circuits

Why This Product

1Regulates line voltage instead of only filtering noise
2Provides 9 outlets for rack-based equipment
3Uses a toroidal autotransformer for stable output
