FURMAN Contractor MiniPort CN-15MP AC Power Controller

Place power control where the equipment lives, not just where the rack sits. The FURMAN Contractor MiniPort is a professional remote AC power controller designed for SmartSequencer systems and distributed AV installations. It is built for scenarios where speakers, projectors, and other loads are located away from the main rack, yet still need synchronized sequencing and dependable protection. The MiniPort supports daisy chaining up to 1,000 feet apart, which gives integrators more flexibility in large rooms and multi-zone environments. Bi-directional communication helps keep sequencing coordinated across the system, while Extreme Voltage Shutdown adds a layer of protection against unsafe voltage conditions. The 15 A unit includes two NEMA 5-15R outlets and a thermal breaker, making it suitable for controlled power delivery in professional AV racks and remote device locations. Compared with basic power strips or unsupervised outlet control, this unit is built for installations where timing, protection, and system coordination matter. It is a practical choice for contractors standardizing remote power control across classrooms, auditoriums, meeting spaces, and other AV deployments that need more than simple on/off switching.
