F5 BIG-IP VE Advanced WAF 25 Mbps

Defend web applications with a virtual WAF platform sized for controlled throughput and consistent policy enforcement. F5 BIG-IP Virtual Edition: Advanced Web Application Firewall 25 Mbps gives infrastructure teams a software-defined security layer for application traffic, helping reduce exposure to common web attacks while fitting cleanly into virtualized environments. This edition is designed for organizations that need precise capacity planning rather than oversized appliance spend. The 25 Mbps tier supports smaller production workloads, segmented application environments, and security-first deployments where predictable licensing matters as much as protection. It aligns with BIG-IP VE release support across V17.1.x through V23.x, giving teams a clear path for standardized deployment and lifecycle management. For procurement and architecture teams, the value is in control: deploy where the workload lives, scale by requirement, and keep application security aligned to the environment instead of forcing the environment around fixed hardware. When the goal is to protect web-facing services without adding physical infrastructure, this license tier delivers a focused, enterprise-grade option.
