5520-24T-BASE Extreme Networks 24-Port Switch

Deliver dependable access switching where port density and security both matter. The Extreme Networks 5520-24T-BASE provides 24 10/100/1000BASE-T ports for wired users and devices, along with 2 stacking/QSFP28 ports for high-speed interconnects and expansion. MACsec capability helps protect traffic as it moves across trusted infrastructure. This switch is aimed at teams standardizing on a compact, rack-mount access platform that can grow with the network. An unpopulated VIM slot adds expansion flexibility, while 2 unpopulated modular fan slots and 2 unpopulated modular PSU slots support deployment planning around airflow and power redundancy. For environments that need a stronger access-layer foundation than entry-level switching, the 5520 balances density, security, and modularity. It is a practical fit for enterprise closets, branch aggregation, and standardized campus rollouts where uptime, manageability, and future expansion all carry real cost.
