Extreme Networks 100G Passive DAC QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 1 m

Build short-reach 100G breakout links without adding optical complexity. This passive DAC connects a QSFP28 port to four SFP28 endpoints over 1 m, making it a practical fit for fan-out designs where a single high-speed uplink needs to serve multiple 25G connections. For infrastructure teams working in dense racks, passive copper keeps deployment straightforward. There are no transceivers to source, no extra power draw, and no active components to plan around. That simplicity matters when you are standardizing repeatable rack patterns or scaling leaf-spine fabrics with tight cable management requirements. The 1 m length is well suited to short, controlled runs inside the rack or between adjacent equipment. The MSA reference helps align the cable with common enterprise interoperability expectations, while the QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 breakout format supports efficient port utilization in modern data center designs. Choose this cable when you need a compact, cost-conscious way to turn one 100G port into four 25G links without compromising on deployment clarity or rack density.
