Protect essential desktop equipment from the power events that interrupt work and damage hardware. The Tripp Lite Protect It TLP808TELTV gives you 8 surge-protected outlets and an 8 ft cord, making it easier to place the strip where it fits the workspace instead of where the wall outlet forces it. That extra reach matters in dense desks, shared work areas, and equipment carts where cable management and access are part of the job. This model is built for practical protection at the edge of the network and the desk. It helps reduce exposure to electrical noise and surge events that can affect computers, peripherals, phones, and connected accessories. The longer cord supports cleaner routing behind furniture and equipment racks, while the multi-outlet layout reduces the need for extra adapters and daisy-chained power strips. For buyers comparing commodity strips, this model stands out by pairing a trusted Eaton/Tripp Lite design with the kind of placement flexibility and device coverage that support more orderly, more reliable installations. It is a straightforward choice when the goal is to protect valuable endpoints without overcomplicating the setup.
