Connect Thunderbolt 4-enabled computers, docking stations, external drives and displays with a single active 2 m cable. Eaton MTB4-02M-A carries bidirectional Thunderbolt 4 data at up to 40 Gbps and supplies up to 100 W of charging or operating power at 20 V and 5 A. Its longer cable run gives workstations and docked laptops more placement flexibility than a short patch lead while avoiding excess cable length on the desk. Video capability depends on the connected host computer and display configuration. The cable supports a single display at up to 8K and 60 Hz, a single display at up to 4K and 120 Hz, or two displays at up to 4K and 60 Hz. This makes it suitable for high-resolution desktop docks, mobile workstations and storage-connected editing systems where one cable must carry display output alongside data and power. An integrated E-Marker chip communicates the cable's supported power, data and video capabilities to connected equipment. Intel certification confirms Thunderbolt 4 interoperability for supported devices. Backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.x and USB 2.0 equipment supports connections across mixed generations of USB-C hardware, subject to the capabilities of the attached host, dock, peripheral and display.
