Move heat out of the enclosure before it becomes a performance problem. The Eaton SmartRack Roof Mount Fan (230V) is a roof-panel cooling accessory designed to increase ventilation in compatible SmartRack server cabinets. With six 230V fans mounted in the panel, it helps exhaust warm air from the top of the rack where heat naturally accumulates. This matters in cabinets filled with active servers, switches, and storage gear. Better top-of-rack ventilation can reduce thermal buildup, support more consistent equipment operation, and help protect the service life of the hardware inside. For infrastructure teams, the value is straightforward: more predictable cooling in a form factor made for SmartRack enclosures. The unit includes toolless mounting hardware for faster deployment and is built with cold rolled steel and a black finish for a clean, durable installation. It is a practical choice when you need enclosure-level airflow management rather than room-level cooling alone. In dense rack environments, that extra margin can make the difference between stable operation and avoidable heat stress.
