Eaton B126-1A1 HDMI Over Cat5 Active Extender, 1080p

Move HDMI signals across longer distances while keeping the installation disciplined and easy to service. This active extender is designed for single-cable Cat5e/6 runs and supports 1080p delivery, giving integrators a straightforward way to place displays where direct HDMI cabling would be impractical. The local HDMI output adds flexibility for a nearby monitor, which is useful when technicians need a local view during setup or when a room requires both remote and local display paths. With active signal handling, this model is built for environments where consistent transport matters and cable length can’t be left to chance. It is especially relevant in conference rooms, classrooms, and AV deployments that depend on a clean signal path across longer runs. Using 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable, the extender can support 1080i at up to 200 ft. and 1080p at up to 150 ft., giving teams a clear planning baseline for real installations. For buyers comparing extender options, the value here is not just distance. It is the combination of active transport, local output, and a deployment model that keeps the room usable without overbuilding the signal chain.
