Eaton U457-1M2-NVME-L USB-C M.2 NVMe Enclosure

Move high-speed SSD storage outside the chassis without sacrificing responsiveness. The Eaton Tripp Lite Series U457-1M2-NVME-L connects over USB-C and supports M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs in an M-Key enclosure design, giving IT teams and power users a compact way to repurpose drives for portable workloads, imaging, and field recovery. USB 3.2 Gen 2 signaling supports up to 10 Gbps throughput, which helps reduce wait times when moving large datasets, VM images, or project archives. LED indicators provide immediate status feedback, making it easier to verify activity during transfers and troubleshooting. For environments where speed matters more than desktop footprint, this enclosure keeps storage accessible without tying it to a single system. It fits naturally into deployment kits, bench workflows, and mobile service bags where fast external access to SSDs is more useful than a fixed internal bay. When compared with basic USB storage, this adapter gives you direct control over the drive you install, the interface you use, and the performance you can expect.
