The Eaton Tripp Lite series U280M-005-10-BK is a compact magnetic wireless charger built for desks, workstations and travel bags. It delivers up to 10W of wireless charging output to a compatible smartphone, including Apple iPhone 12 or newer, and works with Qi smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, Nokia and other brands. The magnetic pad snaps the phone into place for consistent alignment, so charging starts as soon as the device is set down. The adjustable stand holds the phone upright in portrait or landscape orientation, so users can scroll, text or watch video while the battery tops up. It charges through most protective cases up to 5 mm thick; magnetic or metal objects should be removed from the phone or case before charging. A single green or red status LED shows at a glance whether the phone is charging normally or has hit a charging error. Power comes in through an attached 5 ft black PVC cable ending in a straight USB-C (male) connector, with 5 VDC and 9 VDC input and 2 A total charging current. Overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharge and short-circuit protection help prevent the kind of electrical stress that can damage a phone's battery or internals.
