Eaton B140-1A0 DVI Over Cat5 Active Extender

Push DVI-D Single-Link video to remote displays without running bulky direct-connect cabling. The Eaton B140-1A0 uses Cat5e or Cat6 infrastructure to extend signal reach up to 200 ft., making it a practical fit for classrooms, digital signage, control rooms, and conference spaces with separated source and display locations. For higher-resolution content, it supports up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz and can deliver that signal up to 150 ft. When the application prioritizes distance over resolution, it can extend 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz up to 200 ft. That flexibility gives AV teams room to match performance to the room layout instead of compromising the design. This extender is intended for use with B140-002 or B140-004 transmitter units and performs best with 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite N202-Series, to achieve maximum distance and resolution. The result is a cleaner, more scalable way to place displays where they are needed while keeping source equipment in a secure or centralized location.
