Confirm that both connection points accept female MPO cable ends and use compatible APC MPO interfaces. The channel must require 8-fiber OM4 50/125 µm multimode fiber, Type B polarity, and a 70 m cable length. Verify the polarity method across the complete MPO path.
This cable has a female MPO connector on each end, with APC-polished interfaces. Female MPO cable ends mate with corresponding guide-pin connector interfaces. Both endpoint hardware and any intermediate patching components must be compatible with MPO APC connections and the required fiber count.
Type B polarity reverses fiber positions from one cable end to the other. In an MPO channel, that reversal must align with the polarity arrangement used by connected trunks, cassettes, and transceiver connections. Select it when the complete path is engineered for Type B polarity.
The cable uses OM4 50/125 µm multimode fiber. It should be matched with compatible multimode MPO equipment and patching components. Do not substitute it for a single-mode fiber segment, because the fiber type, optical characteristics, and connected hardware requirements differ.
