Terminate an eight-fiber MPO fiber path at four LC/APC connection points with this 31 m OS2 breakout assembly. The Eaton N390-31M-8LC-AP has one female 8-fiber MPO/APC connector at the trunk end and four LC/APC breakout legs at the equipment end. Its 8.3/125 singlemode fiber construction supports long-reach optical cabling architectures that require an MPO-to-LC transition. Use the cable between an MPO-based patching field or trunk interface and four duplex LC/APC optical ports. The fixed fan-out converts one high-density eight-fiber connection into separate LC/APC endpoints, removing the need to field-terminate individual fiber runs for that transition. A 31 m cable length provides reach for cross-connect, cabinet-to-cabinet, and distribution-frame paths where a short patch cable cannot span the route.
