The cable accepts one 8-fiber connection at its APC MPO female input and divides that fiber path into two physical branches. Each breakout branch carries 4 fibers, allowing one incoming 8-fiber path to be routed toward two separate downstream paths.
This cable uses OS2 single-mode fiber with an 8.3/125 µm core and cladding specification. OS2 construction is used for single-mode structured fiber routes where the installed cable plant and connected optical equipment require single-mode fiber.
