DURABOOK WAR-A3DFCT-01 Warranty Service Coverage

Maintain service coverage associated with a supported DURABOOK device by applying the correct warranty entitlement. WAR-A3DFCT-01 is a service item rather than a hardware component, so it does not add ports, storage, peripherals, or a replacement device to an installation. Its purpose is to associate warranty coverage with eligible DURABOOK equipment under the service designation represented by this code. Warranty entitlements are tied to the supported equipment and their assigned coverage terms. This makes the service designation important when matching coverage to an installed mobile computer, tablet, or other DURABOOK hardware asset. The supported product, coverage period, included service, support channel, and any response commitments are determined by the entitlement assigned to the equipment. Use the exact service code when the required coverage designation is known. The item is suited to installations that need warranty service recorded against eligible DURABOOK equipment without adding physical hardware to the deployment. Keep the device identity and its existing coverage status aligned with the selected service entitlement so the service record corresponds to the equipment requiring support.
