Ditek DTK-MRJPOE 10 GbE PoE Surge Protector

Protect high-speed Power over Ethernet connections at the point where field cabling reaches network equipment. The Ditek DTK-MRJPOE places multistage, hybrid surge protection in line with an RJ45 Ethernet path while supporting up to 10 Gb/s throughput. It is intended for PoE applications where both Ethernet data and DC power share the same cable, including PoE+ and Hi-PoE installations. Install the protector at the equipment end of a cable run to help protect the connected device, or place it ahead of an injector or midspan device. This placement flexibility suits powered network endpoints and PoE power-delivery equipment where an incoming copper run presents a surge exposure path. Female RJ45 connections support inline installation with standard Ethernet patching. The unit supports 60 V service voltage, 75 V clamping voltage, and power handling up to 144 W. Those ratings distinguish it from lower-power Ethernet-only protection intended for data links without high-power PoE. An ABS enclosure measures 3 x 1.7 x 1.2 in., providing a compact point-of-use form factor. Support for Cat 5e cabling and 10 GbE throughput makes it applicable where link speed must be retained instead of reduced by the protection component.
