The Cradlepoint 170704-002 is the black mini cellular antenna that Cradlepoint lists as standard equipment in its router data sheets. The IBR600C Series data sheet lists two of these antennas. It is a direct-attach whip for the SMA cellular ports on Cradlepoint routers. It covers 600 MHz to 6 GHz, measures 140 mm long and is rated at 3 dBi gain. Each package holds one antenna, so you can order the exact number of ports you need to fill. Cradlepoint specifies the 170704-002 for its 600M, 150M and 10M modems in eight routers: the R980, S400, AER2200, IBR1700, IBR900, IBR600C, IBR200 and R500-PLTE (U.S. only). The R1900 data sheet lists this antenna only for non-production bench testing. For deployed R1900 installations, plan for a different antenna solution. The antenna screws directly onto the router's SMA connector with no cable run. Tighten it by hand and keep torque at or below 4 in-lbs to protect the connector. Cradlepoint lists the antenna as active and offers it in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa & Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. IT and field-operations teams stock it to replace antennas that have been lost, broken or damaged in vehicles, kiosks and branch closets.
