The Ericsson Cradlepoint L950 is an indoor LTE broadband adapter for remote sites and branches that need reliable wireless WAN failover when the primary link fails. It works alongside an existing router or SD-WAN device and brings up a cellular connection according to your failover policies. Inside a 145 x 145 x 30 mm housing is an embedded Cat 7 LTE modem with 2x2 MIMO, peak rates of 300 Mbps down and 150 Mbps up, dual 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection, and two GbE RJ45 ports that are LAN/WAN switchable. It is powered over 802.3af PoE, and this package includes the PoE injector and line cord. Because the L950 connects over LTE independently of the wired circuit, it also provides day-1 connectivity: a new site can go live while waiting for a terrestrial link, then the adapter drops into backup mode once the wired connection is in place. Zero-touch deployment through NetCloud means local staff can install it without IT on site, and the NetCloud Verify mobile app guides installers to the best signal placement and produces a report with photos, speed tests and modem health metrics. The bundled 5-year NetCloud Essentials + Advanced plan lets you manage the router and adapter as one entity, troubleshoot the adapter and in-line devices through advanced Out-of-Band Management even when IP and Ethernet are unavailable, and review failover events and primary-link SLA performance in NetCloud dashboards. The package includes 24x7 support for the full term and a limited lifetime hardware warranty while the NetCloud subscription remains active. The North American modem supports LTE bands including B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66 and B71, plus CBRS Band 48 for private LTE, with FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety network certifications.
