QStar Archive Manager Addon Lic for Cohesity DP 200 TB

Preserve more data without expanding primary storage footprint. QStar Archive Manager Addon Lic for Cohesity DP adds archive management capacity for environments protecting up to 200 TB, giving infrastructure teams a cleaner path to long-term retention and controlled storage growth. This add-on is built for organizations that already run Cohesity DataProtect and need a structured way to move older content into archive workflows while keeping it accessible for operational or compliance-driven retrieval. It helps reduce pressure on high-performance storage tiers by shifting less-active data into a managed archive layer. For enterprise backup teams, the value is in precision. You keep retention policies aligned to business and regulatory needs, avoid unnecessary expansion of expensive storage, and maintain a clearer separation between active backup data and archived content. That makes planning easier, restores more predictable, and storage economics easier to defend. As a licensed add-on, this product fits into an existing Cohesity deployment rather than replacing it. It is a practical choice when the requirement is not more backup software, but more control over what happens after backup data ages out of the primary recovery window.
