Add Riverbed SteelHead support to Cisco NSO with a NED license scoped for one active production network server. This deployment service extends NSO device coverage so infrastructure teams can manage Riverbed environments through a consistent automation framework. For organizations running performance optimization appliances in production, the benefit is operational discipline. A dedicated NED helps align device-specific interactions with NSO workflows, making service activation and configuration management more repeatable. That reduces the risk of drift, shortens change execution, and gives teams a cleaner path to standardized operations. This license is a strong fit for environments where Cisco NSO is already the orchestration layer and Riverbed SteelHead must be managed as part of a broader network automation strategy. It supports production use with a focused scope, making it easier to justify in environments where reliability, repeatability, and control matter more than generic compatibility.
