Cisco Nexus 9K 48x10G 6x100G QSFP28

Maintain continuity on a dense Cisco Nexus switching platform with support aligned to 48 x 10G ports and 6 x 100G QSFP28 uplinks. This coverage option is suited to infrastructure teams standardizing on high-port-count aggregation and spine or leaf deployments where uptime, port density, and predictable support matter. The 9K family is commonly selected when east-west traffic, low-latency forwarding, and operational consistency are non-negotiable. This support SKU is positioned for environments that already run Nexus 9300-class switching and want a service path that matches the hardware profile rather than a generic contract tier. That matters when the switch sits in a production rack carrying virtualization clusters, storage traffic, or core application networks. For procurement teams, the value is in aligning support to the exact platform configuration. For operations teams, it helps reduce ambiguity during incident response and lifecycle planning. For budget owners, it supports a premium switching asset with the service coverage expected in enterprise data centers.
