Preserve thermal headroom in the Cisco NCS 57C3 chassis with a fan tray built for port-side intake airflow. In high-density routing environments, cooling is not a background detail — it is what keeps forwarding hardware operating within design limits when traffic spikes, ambient temperatures rise, or rack layouts leave little margin for error. This 60 mm fan tray is purpose-built for the NCS 57C3 platform, aligning airflow with the chassis architecture rather than forcing a generic cooling approach. That matters in enterprise and service-provider racks where predictable intake direction, serviceability, and platform fit are worth more than a lower-cost substitute that may not match the system’s thermal profile. Use it to support sustained operation in production networks, where cooling consistency protects uptime and reduces the risk of thermal throttling or avoidable maintenance events. For infrastructure teams standardizing on Cisco routing hardware, this fan tray helps maintain the cooling behavior the chassis was engineered to expect.
