Deploy additional storage without replacing controllers or replatforming workloads. The Cisco Modular Add-on Storage E2N-N9K-STR-M-B is a purpose-built expansion enclosure intended to integrate with Cisco storage environments to provide additional drive bays, serviceability, and vendor-backed support. It is designed for IT teams that require predictable scaling, consistent management, and minimized migration risk. By keeping control-plane policies and monitoring intact, the add-on enclosure reduces operational friction and accelerates time to capacity. Procurement teams benefit from Cisco-configured SKUs and support options that simplify lifecycle planning. For exact drive counts, supported protocols, and power/performance characteristics, consult Cisco technical documentation or your authorized reseller to match an expansion configuration to your storage architecture.
