Bretford LG-PER-PALLET Liftgate Service Per Pallet

Move palletized shipments into facilities without a dock by adding liftgate service at the pallet level. This DSV fee is designed for deliveries that need ground-level unloading, giving receiving teams a cleaner handoff when standard dock access is not available. It is a practical add-on for freight that must be lowered safely from the truck to the receiving area. Because the charge is applied per pallet, it aligns cost with the actual shipment footprint instead of a flat delivery surcharge. That makes it easier to plan inbound logistics for multi-pallet orders, special receiving windows, and locations where dock equipment is unavailable. For procurement teams, the value is straightforward: fewer delivery exceptions, less manual coordination, and a more predictable receiving process for palletized freight. This service is best used when the shipment is too heavy or too large for hand unloading and the destination cannot receive freight at dock height. It helps preserve schedule integrity and reduces the risk of delays caused by last-mile handling constraints.
