Brainboxes SW-718 Hardened 8-Port Gigabit Switch

Maintain wired connectivity in demanding industrial environments with the Brainboxes SW-718. This hardened 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch is designed for DIN rail mounting, making it a practical fit for control panels, automation cabinets, and distributed edge systems where space, stability, and cable discipline matter. With eight Gigabit ports, the SW-718 supports fast device-to-device communication across industrial networks that need more than basic connectivity. It is well suited to environments where switches must sit close to controllers, sensors, HMIs, and gateways while remaining easy to install and service. The DIN rail form factor helps simplify integration into existing electrical enclosures and keeps network infrastructure organized alongside other control components. For teams specifying industrial networking hardware, this model stands out by combining a hardened design with a compact deployment profile. It is a strong choice when the network must stay reliable inside cabinets, on the factory floor, or at the edge of an operational system.
