The Belkin BoostCharge Pro Universal Easy Align Wireless Charging Pad (WIA007ttBK) is a compact 15W Qi wireless charger for desks, reception counters, workstations and bedside tables. Belkin enlarged the charging surface to twice the size of its previous models, so you can set a phone down and it charges without careful alignment. Non-slip grip material keeps the phone in place if the surface vibrates, and it charges through most phone cases up to 5 mm thick. Safety is built into the hardware. One thermal protection system monitors the charging coil and a second monitors the circuit board. Foreign Object Detection (FOD) stops charging when metal objects such as keys or coins are on the pad. Belkin assembles the housing with metal screws and uses open-cell foam cushions to protect the internal components. A status light shows white while charging and amber for an input voltage fault, a detected foreign object or an over-temperature condition. The pad works with Qi-enabled devices and supports 15W charging for Qi2-compatible devices.
