Maintain reliable power and connectivity for Axis network devices with a compact managed switch designed for edge installations. The T8516 PoE+ network switch brings 8 Gigabit Ethernet access ports together with 2 uplink ports, giving you a clean way to connect cameras and other endpoints without crowding the wiring space. Layer 2 management gives infrastructure teams the control they expect for segmented deployments, while Gigabit Ethernet keeps bandwidth available for video and other traffic-heavy workloads. The compact form factor supports desktop, wall-mount, and rack-mount placement, so it can adapt to the physical constraints of a closet, cabinet, or workstation area. This is the kind of switch you choose when the network has to stay simple at the edge but still meet enterprise expectations for control and uptime. For Axis-focused environments, it offers the right mix of PoE access, uplink flexibility, and deployment options to support surveillance and adjacent network devices without adding unnecessary complexity.
