Axiom Memory SFP-25G-SR-S Compatible 25GBASE-SR SFP28 Transceiver

Carry 25 GbE traffic across short multimode-fiber runs between switches, routers, servers, and storage interfaces that accept SFP28 optics. Axiom Memory XBR-25G-SR-01-AX uses 25GBASE-SR signaling, an 850 nm optical wavelength, and an LC duplex fiber connection. It occupies one SFP28 port rather than using a copper twinax assembly, retaining structured-fiber patching for cross-connects, patch panels, and equipment rows. For in-rack, row, and adjacent-rack links, the short-reach optical interface supports distances up to 100 m on OM4 multimode fiber or up to 70 m on OM3 multimode fiber. This makes it appropriate for high-bandwidth east-west traffic between 25 GbE server adapters, top-of-rack switching, storage nodes, and aggregation equipment within a data center or wiring room. Use duplex multimode fiber terminated with LC connectors at both ends of the channel. Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S compatibility distinguishes this module for environments using Cisco-compatible 25 GbE optical interfaces. The SFP28 form factor provides the physical and electrical interface used by 25 GbE host ports, while 25GBASE-SR supplies short-reach optical transport over multimode fiber.
