AVEPOINT APU_CBU_IP_SAAS_BYOS_MSP Cloud Backup for IaaS and PaaS

Protect IaaS and PaaS cloud workloads with a SaaS-based backup service structured for managed service providers. AVEPOINT APU_CBU_IP_SAAS_BYOS_MSP provides cloud backup coverage for infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service environments under an annual subscription paid upfront. It is a service entitlement rather than a physical appliance, with no shipped hardware required for deployment. The BYOS designation means backup storage is supplied by the customer or service provider. This structure fits MSP environments that need to use an existing or separately selected storage destination rather than a bundled storage allocation. Keeping storage separate from the backup service can help an MSP apply its own storage architecture and retention approach to the protected cloud environment. This subscription is specifically positioned for cloud backup of IaaS and PaaS workloads, distinguishing it from service offers aimed at other protection scopes. Its MSP designation identifies the service-provider use case, while the annual pay-upfront term establishes the subscription payment structure. Select it when the required backup service must cover IaaS and PaaS workloads, use customer-provided storage, and be purchased as an annual SaaS subscription.
