ATEN UCE260 USB Extender over Cat 5/5e/6 to 60 m

Place USB devices where they belong, not where the cable allows. The ATEN UCE260 extends USB signals over Cat 5/5e/6 cabling up to 60 m, giving integrators and IT teams a cleaner way to position peripherals across rooms, racks, kiosks, and work areas. Using structured cabling instead of a long direct USB run helps keep installations organized and easier to service. It also gives you more freedom when the host system must stay in a secure closet, under a desk, or in a control point while the peripheral sits at the user location. For environments that already depend on Cat 5/5e/6 infrastructure, this approach can reduce cable clutter and simplify routing. The UCE260 is a strong fit for professional deployments where USB reach matters more than consumer convenience. It is designed for teams that need dependable placement flexibility without redesigning the room around the cable length. When the distance is the constraint, this extender turns existing network cabling into a practical transport path for USB devices.
