Keep shared data close, fast, and under control with a 6-bay NAS built for small and mid-sized infrastructure teams. The ASUSTOR Lockerstor 2 Gen2+ AS6706T v2 gives you the drive capacity to balance performance and resilience, while preserving a compact footprint that fits cleanly into office, studio, or branch deployments. This model is a strong fit when you need more than basic file storage. Six bays create room for RAID planning, capacity growth, and workload separation, so you can organize active projects, backups, and archived data on one platform instead of spreading them across multiple devices. That reduces administrative overhead and makes storage policy easier to enforce. For teams comparing entry-level NAS appliances, the value here is headroom. A 6-bay chassis gives you more flexibility than 2- or 4-bay systems when planning for future disks, redundancy, and data growth. It is the kind of platform that helps avoid a second purchase cycle too soon, which matters when storage decisions need to hold up over several years. Use it as a central file repository, a backup target, or a shared storage node for departments that need dependable access and predictable expansion. The result is a cleaner storage architecture with fewer compromises.
