ROG Strix Arion is the ASUS product model designation. ESD-S1C/BLK/G/AS is the specific ordering code for that M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD enclosure configuration. Use the full ordering code when matching an order, and use ROG Strix Arion when confirming the enclosure family.

The enclosure accepts M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. It is intended for NVMe PCIe M.2 drives, not for an SSD already installed in another external enclosure. Storage capacity depends on the separately selected compatible SSD.

ESD-S1C/BLK/G/AS includes the ROG Strix Arion aluminum SSD enclosure, a screwdriver-free installation mechanism and thermal pads for the installed M.2 drive. It does not include an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, so no storage capacity is supplied with the enclosure.
