SmartSense names the Ascom product family. SSE-SALAASE is the ordering code for the SmartSense Connect subscription entitlement covering one third-party sensor connection. It identifies subscription capacity rather than third-party sensor hardware.
SSE-SALAASE includes subscription entitlement for one third-party sensor connection in SmartSense Connect. The entitlement covers software connection capacity for that sensor. It does not include the third-party sensor hardware itself.
SSE-SALAASE is required when a SmartSense Connect deployment needs subscription capacity for one third-party sensor connection. Each entitlement is licensed per third-party sensor, so it applies to a single connected sensor.
