S6H21A denotes one 10 GbE BiDi LC optical transceiver. It installs in a compatible SFP+ host port. A working point-to-point link also requires a compatible optical transceiver at the remote end with the opposite wavelength assignment and suitable single-mode fiber.

The two wavelengths separate transmit and receive traffic on the same fiber strand. This optic transmits at 1270 nm and receives at 1330 nm, so the remote endpoint needs a compatible BiDi optic with the corresponding opposite wavelength direction.
