PBS Pro Maintenance for Altair Licenses

Maintain continuity across your PBS Pro licensing environment with annual maintenance from Altair Engineering. This offering is designed for organizations that run production HPC workloads and need predictable support coverage for their license product codes. Rather than treating licensing as a one-time purchase, annual maintenance keeps the software relationship active, helping teams stay aligned with vendor support expectations and renewal cycles. For infrastructure teams managing compute clusters, job scheduling reliability matters as much as raw performance. PBS Pro sits at the center of that workflow, coordinating access to shared resources and helping keep high-value workloads moving. Annual maintenance is the practical layer that protects that investment, giving procurement and technical owners a clean path to ongoing coverage without disruption. This maintenance SKU is especially relevant for enterprises that standardize on Altair licensing and need a straightforward way to preserve support continuity. It is a fit for environments where downtime, expired coverage, or unmanaged renewals can create operational risk. By keeping maintenance current, teams reduce friction when they need vendor assistance, updates, or entitlement validation tied to the license code. For buyers comparing options, the value is not in extra complexity. It is in keeping a critical scheduling platform supported, current, and easier to govern across the lifecycle of the deployment.
