Push 10 GbE farther without changing the network design. This AddOn Networks SFP+ transceiver is Zyxel compatible, TAA compliant, and built for 10GBASE-ZR links over single-mode fiber at 1550 nm. It is the right fit when standard short-reach optics are not enough and the network needs dependable transport across extended distances. For infrastructure teams, the value is straightforward: preserve high-speed connectivity between buildings, across campus backbones, or through metro aggregation paths while keeping the optics layer aligned to enterprise procurement requirements. The ZR class is purpose-built for long-reach optical transport, making it a stronger choice than lower-cost short-range modules when the link budget and distance are non-negotiable. Use it where link stability, compatibility, and procurement compliance all matter. The module’s SFP+ form factor supports straightforward deployment in supported switches and routers, while the single-mode 1550 nm design targets long-distance optical runs with the reach expected from 10GBASE-ZR. For teams standardizing on approved hardware, this module helps keep the optics layer consistent without overbuying capacity or compromising on distance.
