Use this 5 ft CAT 6 crossover cable when the network design calls for a direct device-to-device copper link. AddOn Networks pairs RJ-45 male connectors with a snagless bubble boot profile, giving the cable a practical balance of port protection and easy handling in active environments. The purple PVC jacket makes this cable easy to identify at a glance, which is useful in labs, staging areas, and color-coded infrastructure where cable tracing matters. At 5 ft, it is short enough to minimize slack while still providing the reach needed for adjacent equipment, bench setups, or compact rack layouts. CAT 6 construction supports standard Ethernet connectivity, while the crossover configuration is suited to specific legacy or direct-connect scenarios where paired transmit and receive paths are required. For teams that want a tidy, purpose-built cable rather than a generic patch cord, this model delivers a clear fit for controlled deployments and organized cable management.
