ACTi ECD-1100 16-Channel H.264 IP Video Decoder

Decode H.264 IP video from up to 16 cameras or video devices and present it on a single local HDMI display. ACTi ECD-1100 supports video output up to 1,920 x 1,080 at 30 fps, making it suitable for security monitoring displays, public-view monitors, and digital-signage endpoints that need network video without placing a recording server at the screen. One RJ-45 Ethernet port provides the network connection, while HDMI supplies the primary display output. A BNC composite output is also available for installations retaining an analog monitor path. The decoder processes H.264 streams through RTP, RTSP, TCP, and UDP, and it supports DHCP and PPPoE network operation. A USB-A 2.0 port provides local peripheral connectivity. Power the unit through IEEE 802.3af PoE or its 12 VDC barrel input, allowing placement near a display where an Ethernet run is already available. PTZ and speed control support up to 32 presets, with ACTi URL PTZ commands for compatible cameras. The external decoder includes a pole mount and power adapter, and its compact 5.3 x 4.5 x 1.3 in enclosure fits behind displays or within signage housings.
