Match the cable against four requirements: 12-fiber MPO connectivity, OM4 50/125 µm multimode fiber, Method B polarity, and one female plus one male MPO termination. Also verify that a 50 cm cable length reaches the intended interfaces without strain.
The assembly has an MPO female connector at one end and an MPO male connector at the other. MPO female connectors have no alignment pins, while MPO male connectors have pins. Confirm the mating gender required by each connected cassette, panel, or equipment interface.
Method B uses reversed fiber-position mapping between the two MPO ends. This polarity arrangement must align with the connected MPO infrastructure and optical interfaces. Verify the polarity method used by the complete channel before installing the cable.
